You landed here. Welcome to my secret lab.
I never quite know what to write in “About” sections, but here we are. “About” pages are always partial. You select a few things, leave out the rest, and suddenly a person becomes a list. But research does not work like that. Ideas come from the mess, from sleepless nights, wrong turns, half-finished books, and questions that refuse to go away.
This is my desk, in a way. A little messy, but in a productive sense. I think about law, genetics, and the invisible structures that shape them. I have a long-standing, entirely peaceful relationship with coffee. I do this work because I need to understand things, believing that (almost) anything can be understood. Research, like cartography, requires choosing a projection — and accepting what it distorts. Make yourself comfortable and take a gander around — it’s where the magic happens, somewhere between coffee and ideas. I often update the music list, so you can listen, if you wish.. Glad to have you around.
